This is Taylor S. I
love love love this young lady and feel she is perfect for kicking off my 1st
post on Humans of Flint with an actual person from Flint. She is an incredible
woman. I would consider her a renaissance woman as I’m not sure there isn’t
anything she can’t do. Sewing, needle point, restoration of fabrics, clothing
design. What is even more remarkable is how amazingly cute she is and how
infectious her smile is to the point you’d never know the hardships she carries
with her… So young to have the pain from arthritis… so young to have lost
so many dear and close friends… but you’d never know unless you ask. Either way, she keeps moving and moving. She
doesn’t wear her pain on her sleeve…. In fact, she’s a fighter. Fighter for
women, fighter for justice. Just wait… I know in the near future we’ll see her
on the national scene doing awesome things, making Flint proud.
I'm very impressed! I can't do any of those things. I'm also very sad about her arthritis. Way too young for that, just like your mom was. Is that inherited? She's a beauty!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you Taylor!I am so proud of you and happy to have had you as a student. Keep up the great work.
ReplyDeleteAutoimmune diseases are inherited. She doesn't have the same as my mom though.
ReplyDeleteAs beautiful as her mother! Traci, you must be so proud! And congrats to you, Taylor! You have a beautiful soul. May God bless you with continued faith, courage, and a boldness to share your light with others. God bless you always. <><
